Orders & Returns

When will my order ship?

Orders are typically processed within 2 business days, unless otherwise stated on preorder. You will receive an automated tracking number via email as soon as the courier scans your package. If you purchased an item on preorder, your shipping timeline will be communicated over email and on the product page.

Can I return an item if it doesn't fit?

Yes. We accept returns within 14 days of delivery, unless marked as final sale.

Please note there is a $20 restocking fee for all refunds to cover the re-inspection of archival assets.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide via DHL Express. Please note that customers are responsible for any local import duties or taxes.

Authenticity & Condition

How do you know it’s real?

Every piece is physically inspected for seasonal SKU tags, heat-tape consistency, and hardware weight. We have an internal database of production codes for most all of our brands including Arc’teryx, Oakley, and Stone Island to ensure 100% provenance.

Will my technical jacket still be waterproof?

Vintage membranes can age. While we test for delamination, we cannot guarantee the original factory DWR (Durable Water Repellent) rating on items 10+ years old. We recommend periodic washing with Granger’s or Nikwax to maintain performance.

What if the item is damaged?

Any flaws beyond standard "Field Wear" are explicitly photographed and noted in the description. Please refer to our Condition Grading Scale for details.

buy back model

How do I sell my item back to you?

Simply email andfoundcc@gmail.com with your original Order # and 2-3 current photos of the item. We will provide a pre-paid shipping label and a valuation within 48 hours.

How much credit will I receive?

We typically offer 70-85% of the current market value in Store Credit. If you prefer cash, the buyout is usually 50-60%.

Does my Store Credit expire?

Never. Store Credit issued through the Recirculate program is yours to keep until the perfect piece finds you.

Brand & Ethos

Where are you based?

We operate out of New York City. While we are currently online-only, we host seasonal pop-ups and private viewing appointments for local collectors.

What is the story behind the name?

It’s a nod to the "Lost and Found." We search for the overlooked icons of technical design and celebrate what is found. We bridge the gap between archival history and the modern NYC scene.

What makes Andfound different from a standard vintage shop?

We don't just sell "old clothes." We curate Technical Assets. Every piece in our archive is selected for its soul, its manufacturing heritage (like the "Made in Canada" era), and its ability to outperform modern retail gear.

Sustainability & Circularity

How does andfound help the planet?

The most sustainable garment is the one that already exists. By curating and restoring high-performance gear, we extend the lifecycle of technical fabrics that would otherwise take centuries to decompose.

What does "Keeping Items in Motion" mean?

We believe gear should never reach a landfill. Through our Recirculate Program, we guarantee a path for every item we sell to find its next owner. We don't just sell you a jacket; we manage its entire lifecycle.

Is your packaging eco-friendly?

Absolutely. We ship using 100% recycled and compostable materials. Our goal is a "Zero-Waste" transition from our archive to your door.
