Condition Grading

Archival gear carries history. To ensure you know exactly what you’re buying, we use a standardized grading scale focused on both aesthetics and technical functionality.

  • Grade U (Unused/Deadstock): Original tags attached. No signs of wear or age. Factory fresh.

  • Grade A (Museum): Near-mint. May have been worn once or twice, but shows no visible flaws, fading, or pilling.

  • Grade B+ (Excellent): Extremely well-maintained. Minimal signs of wear (e.g., slight zipper paint wear) but 100% functional.

  • Grade B (Field Ready): Standard vintage condition. May show light pilling, minor fading, or professional repairs. All tech features (waterproofing/zippers) remain fully functional.

  • Grade C (Well-Loved): Significant character. May have visible stains, small holes, or delamination. Priced accordingly for those who value the "soul" of a worn-in piece.
